After years of discussions, environmental studies and a plethora of meetings, The Central Oregon Trail Alliance is very proud to announce approval of our new joint project with the Deschutes National Forest/USFS/USDA, the Wanoga Mt. Bike Event Area
The new system, approximately 12 miles from town on Century Dr, will consist of a new trail head and over 30 miles of single track, with a diversity of terrian and difficulty levels, this new system will be a great addition to our current trail network, which as we know, already gets great reviews in bike industry rags as well as among mt. bike advocacy groups such as the International Mountain Bike Association.
COTA would like to thank all members and volunteers who's hard work has brought this project to fruition. Now let the trail work begin!
